• Two Hour Seminar by Laadli: An interactive session on "What it is to be a girl".
• Introduction of everyone. Getting familiar. Everyone introduces each other.
• Discuss overall event
• What connects us? : we all have common dreams, dreams to aspire for a better future and to be able to express ourselves.
• Each team reads their ideas
• Talk about how to write treatment
• Possiblity of project and timeframe

• 25 th Aug, Saturday : 2-7pm
• 2-2.30pm: Show movies of genesis film project
• Read one page treatment. And show your scrapbook
• Do the visual excercise
• Review treatment writing, types of filmmaking documentary narrative etc. Basics of story structure, Drama, conflict: Students have to write a detail outline, people they will interview and things they would need and use in the film.
• Take a break
• 5pm-7pm: 2 hour seminar by Laadli.: An interactive session on 'The missing daughters' which will discuss sex selection, son preference and other issues pertaining to gender discrimination.

• Read Treatments
• Basics about camera, handling and safety
• Video production: Camera angles, Composition, Movement,
• Shoot few camera exercises in class
• Review shooting exercises

• 29 th Aug, Wednesday - 4-7pm
• Understanding light & sound
• Interview techniques / Voiceover
• Expressing words through images
• 1 st screening of raw footage

• 1 st Sep, Saturday - 2-7pm
• 2 nd Screening of Raw footage.
• The teachers will be guiding them on what is missing in their film. The basis of their guidance shall be the script already written by the children.
• Counting shots of a film clip.
• Show how to do paper edit and use log sheet
• Music and Sound effects
• Editing Demo
• Students watch footage and make time code list of good shots

• 4 th September, Tuesday - 4-7pm
• 3rd review of footage.
• Read paper edits

• 7 th September Aug, Friday : 4-7pm
• The students will be given a crash course on editing on Windows Movie Maker.
• Start editing

• 8 th Sept, Saturday 2-7pm :
• editing sessions,
• In the end of the session watch first cut, give feedback

• 9 th Sept. Sunday 2-7pm
• Watch 2 nd Cut, give feedback in the end

• 12 th Sept, wednesday : 4-7pm
• Editing Session
