In Jan 2007, MAM Movies in association with Peacock Project, had organized the Genesis Film Project where 101 filmmakers made films for 101 NGO’s in 101 hours. The films made have been used by the organizations for promotion and spreading awareness about their project. It has also been screened invarious international venues. Following the success of previous project, we now Invite 101 qualified filmmakers from all over India to make 5 min short films on 101 grass root innovators in 11 days.
This project would be done in collaboration and guidance of Prof Anil Gupta, IIM-A and National Innovation Foundation.
Films would be made on grass-root inventors, innovators and eco-preneurs engaged in conserving biodiversity and developing eco-friendly solutions to local problems.
Filmmakers will be invited from all over India and they would be chosen after viewing their work. Different media schools would be invited to send their best students and make this project as part of their curriculum.
